National Kidney Foundation Funding Opportunities for Clinical and Basic Research

The National Kidney Foundation (NKF) has embarked upon a new initiative designed to increase support of clinical research through its Postdoctoral Fellowship, Young Investigator Grant and Clinical Scientist Award programs. This undertaking includes the establishment of a new Study Section which will review Fellowship and Young Investigator Grant proposals involving clinical research. Basic science applications will be reviewed by a separate Study Section which will evaluate all proposals involving basic research for all three funding mechanisms.
