• Patient Symposium
The NKF and the local affiliate exist to serve the needs of the renal
disease patient and to advance research to overcome the associated diseases
involved.
On Monday, July 9th, the 12th Annual "A Day for You"
was held at the McIntuff Center at the University Medical Center. With
over 75 patients and family members attending the day-long event provides
much needed information and time for sharing.
During the event information was given on both the physical aspects
of kidney disease as well as psychological and spiritual ways that people
cope. Venders were present to answer questions and to make some terrific
give a ways.
